During the course of the 2006-2007 academic year, we have been recommiting ourselves to weave the capabilities of the new Read/Write Web (Web 2.0) into something that has been a strength of our k-12 curriculum, storytelling. Here are examples of projects which show off our students efforts.
Students were asked to create a 3 minute trailer to answer the question what did Vietnam mean. Once they had developed a story board for their group, to determine the focus of their project and the group's point of view, they were required to incorporate digital images with a soundtrack. Some students were adventurous to incorporate movie images. Students used a variety of tools, Microsoft PhotoStory 3, Pinnacle Studio 9, and Windows Movie Maker to complete this project.
